Ms. Walter has a Master's Degree in Counseling from the University of Maryland with more than 30 years experience. She began conducting the shoplifting classes 27 years ago while employed by the Fairfax County General District Court. Ms. Walter is currently working in Fairfax, Arlington, Alexandria, Loudoun, as well as several other counties in Virginia.
She also conducts classes for the United States District Court in Virginia and Maryland.
Ms Walter designed and developed the workbook and format currently being utilized in the S.T.O.P classes.
Ms. LeMay has a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Counseling and has done graduate work in Counseling at Virginia Commonwealth University . She was employed as a Counselor and Social Worker for 15 years in Northern Virginia, as well as a Counselor and Teacher in the Fairfax County Jail for four years.
Ms. LeMay was employed in 1994 as a Counselor and Teacher for the Department of Corrections for the Adult Probation Caseload in Fairfax for a period of seven years.
Ms. LeMay has taught for the S.T.O.P program for the last twelve years and presently she teaches courses in Stafford.
